In April this year, it was announced that DreamHack, billed as the largest gaming event in the world, would be coming to Australia and be hosted in the city of Melbourne. It’s scheduled to take place from 2nd to 4th September 2022 at venues at Melbourne & Olympic Parks, within easy reach of accommodation providers like PARKROYAL Monash Melbourne; at such Monash-based hotels in Melbourne, family room options are available which is ideal since DreamHack caters to young and old alike and not just pro gamers either.
Tickets are currently on sale (https://dreamhack.com/melbourne/tickets/) for this gaming event that has garnered global popularity; it will feature exciting gaming tournaments, exhibitions, video game events, cosplay, and community gaming activities. Amongst the highlights will be the esports finals of CS: GO (Counter-Strike: Global Offensive), Halo, and League of Legends, while there will be a Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) LAN tournament too.
