Little Girl Receives Fully-Funded Trip to Mozambique – A Vacation to Remember

The young African girl who gained attention on social media for holding a loaf of Albany bread became the centre of attention once more when she was gifted a fully funded trip to Mozambique by VW Travel and Tours.  The girl’s increasing popularity on social media caught the attention of the company which decided to fund passport applications for the girl, her mom and her uncle so that they could enjoy their trip together.

The girl first went viral in 2023 when she was featured in a series of photographs holding a loaf of Albany bread. The images were captured by her uncle Lungisani Mjaji a professional photographer who strives to change negative attitudes towards photography as a career path and also inspire the next generation to follow their dreams.
