Local Curators Featured on Visit Qatar Website – Unique Insights & Recommendations

Locally based curators offering authentic insights are amongst the additions to the new Visit Qatar website (https://www.visitqatar.qa) launched by the Qatar National Tourism Council; this was highlighted on The Peninsula news website in June 2021. Catering to locals and foreign tourists alike, these personalities provide tips and recommendations on a wide range of experiences in Qatar be it related to art, culture, cuisine, retail or sports.

The curators include Rachel Morris and Noor Al Mazroei for local dining, Elmira Kahrobaie covering luxury spots, Muna Al Bader on culture and art destinations and Qatari motorcyclist, Mashal Al Naimi focusing on sports. Additionally, the website features information on some of the nation’s key attractions including traditional marketplaces like Souq Waqif and Souq Al Wakrah. You will find some of the best hotels in Qatar near these sites such as Souq Al Wakra Hotel Qatar by Tivoli, an ideal base within easy reach of Doha.
