Although Big Ben and the Buckingham Palace are reason enough to visit London, the tourism sector here seems to be facing difficulty ever since the Brexit memorandum that was signed in June 2016. The hostilities towards the region as a tourist destination seem to come from European countries that are within the circle of the EU.
Because of this, London has ventured out into bigger potential markets such as China and the US. This has gradually brought about a recovery in the industry. Chinese tourists arriving in Britain increased by a fifth in the previous year. The Cricket World Cup that is to be hosted in the UK will also draw in more tourists from India which will bring in large revenues yet again. Flight bookings from the US to the UK too have seen an increase of 18%. Many a hotel in Bayswater such as the popular Berjaya Eden Park London Hotel is sure to see a rise in occupancy levels too.
