LOT Polish Airlines to Launch Warsaw-Colombo Direct Flights

Connecting nations through tourism

From November 2019, Poland’s flag carrier LOT is all set to fly from Warsaw to Sri Lanka with its seasonal flights making Colombo its 06th long-haul Asian destination in the world. Accordingly, between 03rd November and 28th, March 2020 three weekly flights will be launched by LOT on its modern fleet of Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners.

With this initiative, it is expected that hotels in Colombo City which are favoured by the Polish community, will attract more visitors seeking an exotic vacation, and through this, properties the likes of Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo which are known for luxury and convenience, will be highly benefitted in terms of accommodation and dining space facilitation. The CEO of LOT has commented that this new flight was launched foreseeing the potential prevailing in the tourism industry of Sri Lanka and that this initiative will definitely drive the sector to its next immediate step.
