Loy Kratong also was known as the ‘Lantern Festival’ is celebrated by releasing lotus shaped baskets and flowers onto the rivers. Every year, this festival falls in the month of November at the end of the rainy season. Loy Kratong 2018 was successfully held from 22nd to 24th November 2018 in Thailand. Both locals, as well as tourists who took part in the lantern festival, were enthralled by the sheer delight of setting the baskets afloat. It was an existing experience, especially for first-time visitors.
