Bangkok Vegetarian Festival popularly known as Tesagan Gin Jay among many people in the city is one of the most colourful festivals celebrated in the Thai capital. During the festival days, people make it a habit to wear plain white clothes and they eat only vegetarian food. Apart from eating meat Thai people refrain from gambling and drinking alcohol. This year the Vegetarian Festival in Bangkok was held from 8th to 17th October in Bangkok and some other places like Phuket, Trang and Chiang Mai. The festival was filled with different kinds of vegetarian food one has never seen or heard of. Parade drums, fireworks and the dragon exhibition were some of its highlights. While having a good time in the Vegetarian Festival 2018, tourists had the opportunity to experience an amazing Chao Phraya river cruise in Bangkok with some of the leading cruise operators like Anantara Cruises Bangkok Thailand to witness the breathtaking beauty of Bangkok.
