Loy Krathong in Thailand – A highly anticipated Thai event

Referred to by many names, the Loy Krathong festival of Thailand is a much-anticipated and looked-forward-to event in the Southeastern Asian country. A time for people to release their negative energy and collectively celebrate Loy Krathong, or Loi Krathong, is deeply rooted in Indian mythology, as over 700 years ago, this festival was a sacred occasion to venerate the deities Siva, Vishnu, and Brahma.
