The architecture of Macau’s buildings displays a great deal of Portuguese influence – a colonial heritage that’s further reflected in the region’s cuisine.

There are certain landmarks you can’t afford to miss when visiting Macau; these include the Senado square with its central fountain and swirling floor tiles, the Monte Fort, which is still equipped with ancient cannons and the Macau museum, where you can learn amazing details about the region’s rich history.
