One of the region’s leading Halal trade shows, the Malaysia International Halal Showcase(MIHAS) was held in Kuala Lumpur from 3rd to 6th April 2019. It was hosted at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre within easy reach for those who stayed at a Sri Hartamas hotel including the likes of Dorsett Hartamas Kuala Lumpur. While the trade exhibition was opened for trade visitors on the first three days, the public had the chance to attend on the last day.
The Malaysia International Halal Showcase 2019 attracted some of the main Halal producers in the market and covered a range of sectors such as food, pharmaceuticals, tourism, logistics and finance. Those who registered to attend had the chance to also take part in expert panel sessions as well as gain Halal market insights. Other highlights at the 16th edition of MIHAS included business matching, thought leadership programmes, an international sourcing programme and the MIHAS Awards 2019.
