Malaysia plans to implement bubble in Langkawi – Hello Langkawi!

Langkawi has always been a great tourist destination in Malaysia. The COVID 19 pandemic made this destination temporarily hold welcoming tourists due to health and safety risks but now is ready to say Hello to all international travellers. The Prime Minister of Malaysia has recently declared that the government is seeking ways to initiate a travel bubble in Langkawi after discussing it with the relevant stakeholders.

However, this initiative will only happen when 80% of the total population of Langkawi is fully vaccinated. Currently, Langkawi has 108,400 people. Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa which is usually considered the best resort in Langkawi would eagerly be waiting to welcome travellers under a bubble initiative – which will not only benefit the local economies that have already collapsed due to the pandemic but also will offer a true mental relaxation to the travellers after a long while.
