Malaysia to target 16 million tourist arrivals for 2023 – Enlightening the world on Malaysian Culture

Malaysia is now aiming for an ambitious 16 million in total international tourist arrivals for the year 2023 – having since fully opened its international borders. Promoting its latest destinations for shopping, leisure, luxury, and more in the Arabian Travel Market, it also aims to garner $11.19 billion in tourist tickets as part of its efforts. With many properties such as the PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort to serve as an example of the kind of service to expect, this effort is well on its way after already achieving the initial target of 9.2 million tourist arrivals.

Besides travelers looking for a Langkawi resort near a beach, efforts are being made to strengthen relationships with bordering nations and also to meet with airlines of various nations such as Saudi Arabia, to discuss future collaborations. Efforts are being made in particular to connect Middle-Eastern nations – capitalizing on delegations from previous years to create a perfect foothold.
