Coinciding with the 50th anniversary, Maldives tourism recently launched “The Visit Maldives Year 2016” campaign. This campaign is set to attract close to 1.5 million visitors to the country. The country has over the years attracted thousands of tourists with villas and resorts in the islands catering to the accommodation needs of the guests. Travellers touring the isle could consider seeking accommodation at a renowned Maldives bungalow such as Anantara Veli Resort & Spa Maldives.
Campaign which was launched in collaboration with the Maldives Marketing & PR Promotion was set to strengthen the Maldives Islands as an exclusive tourist destination as well as to showcase diverse tourism products. The Visit Maldives Year 2016 campaign will unveil its plans and activities to help make the 1.5 million a success.
