Maldives, Saudi seal deal to start air travel between two countries

In a landmark move, Saudi Arabia and Maldives recently signed an agreement to officially launch air travel between the two countries. Direct flights will operate by Saudia, the national airline of Saudi Arabia to Maldives as well as flying direct flights to different cities of Saudi Arabia. The signing ceremony was held at Hulhule Island Hotel. This agreement will permit Maldivian Airlines to fly 14 flights to Riyadh, Jeddah and Medina on a weekly basis. It also allows any number of flights to be operated to Dammam. With this move, Maldives being an ever appealing tourist destination with many Maldives Islands resorts offering attractive luxury vacation facilities and locations such as Naladhu Maldives and many others is sure to open for Saudi tourists to travel with ease for holiday and business purposes.
