Mamastore’s first-ever physical pop-up store event was held at the Queensway Shopping Centre from February 8th to April 8th, 2020. Originally, the store was meant to be a one-time event – a simple ploy by two friends to clear out their wardrobe – however, with items being cleared up in record time, they decided to make it a regular event. Since its inception, Mamastore has racked up an impressive number of stocks from various reputed brands such as Hard Rock Café and Nike!
This pop-up store was seen by its owners as the first major step towards setting up Mamastore’s own boutique shop, which would ideally include a café as well. The amount of foot-traffic the store generated seems to indicate that this future isn’t that far off. The store was also helped out by the Queensway Shopping Centre’s proximity to several of the Singapore luxury serviced apartments, such as the Ascott Raffles Place Singapore.
