MATTA Fair 2019 Held in Kuala Lumpur – Showcasing the Best of Travel & Hospitality

The MATTA Fair 2019 organised by the Malaysian Association of Tour & Travel Agents (MATTA) came to a successful close last month in Kuala Lumpur. The event which ran from 16th to 18th March 2019, was hosted at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) within 10 minutes of Silka Maytower Kuala Lumpur. The fair which was easy to reach from such 4 star hotels in Kuala Lumpur, attracted local and international names in the travel and hospitality industries and provided visitors with some exclusive packages too.

A biannual event, this year’s MATTA Fair was its 46th edition in the Malaysian capital and featured 1,367 booths across seven halls covering both international and local destinations. The event showcased live cultural performances along with special contests and an Augmented Reality (AR) attraction as well. Another highlight during the fair was when the state of Sabah was selected as “Malaysia’s Favourite Destination”.
