Mauritius lifts travel ban on South Africa ahead of the holiday season – Welcome to Mauritius!

According to the Director of the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA), travellers from South Africa can now travel to Mauritius without having to undergo the mandatory quarantine period. These travellers, if they are fully vaccinated, can travel to Mauritius on an authorized commercial flight and stay at any hotel of their choice. If the travellers are not fully vaccinated, quarantine will be arranged at a state-designated facility.

The best resorts in Mauritius the likes of The Residence Mauritius by Cenizaro are ready to welcome South African travellers after a long while and these properties will be fully monitored by the public health officials of Mauritius to safeguard the travellers as well as the locals. Mauritian health and safety protocols applicable for foreign tourists are also available on the official website of MTPA.
