This month the Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE) was held in Victoria’s capital bringing together coffee connoisseurs and exhibitors from across the country. It ran from 9th to 11th September 2021 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, within easy reach of properties such as PARKROYAL Monash Melbourne. Those who stayed at such hotels in Melbourne also had the chance to enjoy the many events that were held alongside the Melbourne Coffee Week from 5th to 11th September 2021.
At MICE 2021, equipment manufacturers, roasters, service suppliers, café owners and more had the opportunity to network as well as discover innovations related to coffee. At the event’s Origin Alley, visitors got the chance to meet with coffee producers from around the world, while Roasters Alley featured many international and local roasters showcasing diverse brews. Other highlights included the MICE Product Innovation Award and the much-anticipated, Australia’s Richest Barista Battle competition.
