Minor Hotel Group Announces Oaks Bodhgaya, India – A Welcome Addition in Bihar

Minor Hotel Group which now goes under the name Minor Hotels recently announced that it will be opening Oaks Bodhgaya in Bihar later this year. One of the leading hotel brands in the world with a portfolio that extends to 145 properties across 22 countries, Minor Hotels is partnering with Top Travel & Tours Pvt. Ltd. and GP Group for this latest venture which has an estimated investment of USD 6.7 million. Scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter of the year, Oaks Bodhgaya will provide an ideal base from which to explore the historic Bodhgaya area which is a main pilgrimage site for Buddhists who visit such attractions as the Mahabodhi Temple which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The first phase of this new hotel will see it offering 78 rooms along with a dining venue, meditation area and conference event space all set amidst lush gardens.
