Minor Hotel Group opened its very first resort in Oman, Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort and aspires to expand to other continents as well. The resort which is located some 2,000 metres above sea level also offers plenty of wonderful views of the Saiq Plateau and its tranquil gardens. Designed by renowned architect Lofti Sidirahal, the property extends a vastly different experience to guests and is ideal for those looking for Oman hotel deals too. The Minor Hotel Group has also announced its very first property in Portugal named Anantara Vilamoura Algarve Resort which is set to open in April 2017. As stated by Chief Commercial Officer Mr. Michael Marshall, the group has set a massive target of 230 properties to be achieved by 2021. Minor Hotel Group has many brands under its wings including Anantara, Tivoli, AVANI, Oaks and PER AQUUM.
