Maldives Tourism Announced New Developments at World Travel Market 2016

Making their presence felt at the World Travel Market 2016, Maldivian authorities revealed future plans to boost tourism and cater to the growing number of visitors. The announcement revealed three key plans. The Maldivian Ministry of Tourism launched an updated version of the Accommodation Guide to Maldives 2017 which features useful and reliable information in several international languages including Turkish, Chinese, Italian and 7 more. When it comes to the best Maldives resorts there are many options for travellers to choose from such as Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas.

In preparation to welcome more visitors, the Gan International Airport had undergone a 50 million USD restructuring process which includes expansions to the runway. Last but not the least was the announcement of the commencement of the Addu Sea Plane operations. This particular initiative will enable tourists to enjoy the experience of seaplane rides to their preferred resorts from the airport or opt to go on half day or full day excursions to remote islands.
