The Abu Dhabi Food Festival 2016 offered visitors a chance to indulge in an assortment of succulent international and regional dishes and treated them to a chance to mingle with world famous celebrity chefs and Hollywood celebrities alike. Numerous Abu Dhabi desert restaurants including those at resorts such as Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara were part of this culinary extravaganza as well. The 19 day celebrations featured various themed events including slow food and BBQs as well as street food and live music.
MasterChef Australia star Matt Preston and few other culinary celebrities as well as pop stars took part in meet and greet events and a few cook book signings to the delight of the audience. The street food was a popular attraction during the festival with food lovers flocking to sample delicacies from 60 odd food trucks. Cooking demonstrations too were popular attractions while the sky and star themed events provided entertainment to both children and adults.
