The TAT Governor shared with the media that these mobile apps that provide travellers with instant information and facts on the country would help improve their overall experience in Thailand. This includes aspects like shopping, sightseeing, dining or enjoying accommodation which could range from a lavish hotel or a luxurious Chaweng resort such as Anantara Lawana Koh Samui Resort. The Amazing Thailand app that is operated in English is focused on providing useful information to international tourists visiting Thailand. The app will guide the traveller through attractions in Thailand along with the cutting-edge feature named “speak Thai” which is a dictionary that offers English-to-Thai translations. The Tourism Thailand app, on the other hand, offers domestic travellers listings about attractions and events in the Thai language. The apps also boast the latest features such as 360 VR images of sites of interest, GPS and maps.
