The renowned local news provider Daily FT Online recently reported that the Minister of Wildlife in Sri Lanka has decided to reverse the decision to forbid safaris into Wilpattu National Park due to the ongoing drought. The report further revealed that this decision was arrived at after consulting with the Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators (SLAITO) and the Minister of Tourism.
