Morocco, Azerbaijan Sign Visa Exemption Agreement in Banjul – Tourism to Increase Between the Two Nations

In a move to bolster tourism and diplomatic ties, Morocco and Azerbaijan signed a visa exemption agreement on the sidelines of the 15th Islamic Summit held in Banjul, Gambia. The agreement allows citizens of both countries holding ordinary passports to visit each other for tourism purposes without obtaining a visa. According to officials, this initiative signifies a commitment to strengthen relations between the two nations.

Seen as a significant step forward in strengthening relations between the two countries, both sides expressed confidence in a swift rollout. The initiative is expected to boost tourist arrivals and consequently facilitate business travel and cultural exchange, a move towards fostering closer ties between Morocco and Azerbaijan. For Azerbaijani citizens looking to visit the North African nation, select the best hotel to stay in Marrakech Morocco near the city centre and cultural landmarks.
