Moving Light, Roving Sight – Going beyond the norms

The Moving Light, Roving Sight exhibition was recently held at Ikkan Art Gallery. A team of 9 international artists took part at the event held from 22nd January to 18th February 2015. They showcased numerous digital, video and new media. The artists who presented exhibits at the event are teamLab, Naoko Toso, Jenny Holzer, Teppei Kaneuji, Takashi Ishida, Haegue Yang, Oliver Herring, Douglas Gordon and invisible designs lab. Travellers who were on a wellness retreat at Como Shambhala also had the opportunity to visit the open space event that occupied the entire gallery.
Some of the exhibits that were on display were digitally interactive. “Flowers and people cannot be controlled but live together – Dark” was showcased by teamLab and reflected the relationship between humanity and nature. The presentations were loved by all who visited the gallery.
