The National Science Foundation in Sri Lanka will be organising a national conference under the banner “COVID-19: Impact, Mitigation, Opportunities and Building Resilience”. The event is scheduled to take place from 27th to 28th January 2021; it will be hosted at the Postgraduate Institute of Management close to Uga Residence and other such centrally located hotels in Colombo.
This conference will bring together relevant individuals from private and public sector institutions who will reflect and discuss aspects of COVID-19 including success stories, challenges faced and the way forward. The event will feature leading scientists from Sri Lanka as well as those from other countries who will be joining virtually. After the conference, a scholarly volume will be published which will serve as a valuable local and international resource when it comes to dealing with COVID-19 and minimising its impact.
