National Day in Maldives 2019- Where tributes are paid to the well deserved

The National Day of Maldives also known as the “Quamee Dhuvas” by the local community will fall  on the 29th October 2019 and for the Maldivian community, this day is a public holiday on which they commemorate the day when local resistance drove out the Portuguese occupiers after they had seized and ruled the islands for 15 long years.

This will be a good opportunity for foreign visitors who have already made plans to visit the Maldives in October 2019 and stay at any Maldives beach resort to experience luxury and leisure at their best. A Parade and route march especially organized to celebrate this day with honour will definitely be a good sight to experience by all visitors and popular resorts the likes of Faarufushi Maldives have particularly suggested this event as a good-to-attend one when reservations were made for the month of October by foreign guests.
