Offering a thought-provoking and entertaining night of opera, the National Centre For The Performing Arts (NCPA) in Beijing recently held a performance of the operatic classic, The Dawns Here Are Quiet. This popular opera which was commissioned in 2015 by the NCPA, gave audiences a chance to enjoy the moving story that is based on the novel of the same name, written by Boris Lvovich Vasilye. The opera was held from 21st to 24th October at the NCPA which hosts a range of such performances throughout the year. Those in search of a Beijing apartment hotel within easy reach of the venue can consider options such as Ascott Riverside Garden Beijing. Featuring a storyline about five female soldiers who battle against German troops during World War Two and involving themes of sacrifice and the yearning for love, The Dawns Here Are Quiet is an opera that packs an emotional punch as well.
