New tourism logo to be introduced in 2020 – A brand-new design for a brand-new year

The logo for ‘Visit Malaysia 2020 campaign’ is to be announced in May as said by the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture. The selection of the logo is to be done through a competition, where 586 participants took part, the competition closed on March 24th, 2019. The criteria for the logo should be such that the design symbolizes the art and culture of the communities in the country as well as the ecotourism present in Malaysia.

The existing logo brought about a lot of criticism when it was revealed in Thailand last year. The logo must live up to the expectations as Malaysia with its malls, attractions and any hotel in Bukit Bintang bring about a lot for tourists to look forward to. Hotels such as Berjaya Times Square hotel and others take a luxurious Malaysia to a whole other level!
