Oaks Hotels & Resorts recently acquired the QT Port Douglas boutique resort which it has reopened as Oaks Resort Port Douglas. One of the major hotel chains in Australia, Oaks Hotels & Resorts is part of the Minor Hotels group; it now offers both local and international travellers an ideal accommodation option in Tropical North Queensland along with its sister property, Oaks Lagoons.

Oaks Resort Port Douglas features hotel rooms as well as one and two-bedroom apartments and is ideally positioned within easy reach of Four Mile Beach. It is five minutes from the area’s shopping and dining hub, Macrossan Street and makes an ideal base from which to visit the Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef. Located only 60 minutes away from the Cairns Airport, the property features a tropical lagoon-style pool, day spa and a restaurant as well.
