Otaru Snow Light Path Festival was an iconic winter event held from 9th to 18th February with the area lit up daily from 5 pm to 9 pm in Otaru city. The festival was held in two different locations: Unga Kaijo and Temiyasen Kaijo. All those who came to visit the famous Otaru canal experienced fine accommodation at Grand Park Otaru, which was a 7-minute walk from the canal. This Otaru hotel offered attractive deals for the tourists during their stay.
Glittering lanterns, cute snow sculptures and the snowy town created a very pleasing atmosphere for all the visitors. The most breathtaking moment was the floating candles down on the freezing surface of the canal. The festival offered a lifelong unforgettable experience to recall because every nook and corner of the Otaru city had something to surprise everyone.
