Over 9,00,000 Passengers To Pass Through Abu Dhabi Airport: Peak Season Incomings

Abu Dhabi Airports released its passenger projections, which foresaw a surge in traffic at Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) leading up to and during Eid Al Adha. From June 23rd to July 7th, it welcomed more than 900,000 passengers in transit through AUH, with over 5,000 flights connecting 109 destinations spanning 59 countries.

Abu Dhabi Airports anticipated that June 24th, June 25th, and July 2nd would be the peak days in the upcoming weeks. During these specific dates, the authority responsible for the emirate’s five airports accommodated nearly 65,000 passengers, as indicated in an official press statement. This proactive approach ensured a seamless and efficient travel experience during the busiest times. This was a busy time for its hospitality sector as well, and the demand for serviced apartments in Abu Dhabi such as the Oaks Liwa Executive Suites was quite high.
