Pakistan Day Celebrations in Salalah – Pakistan Day Celebrated with Pomp and Pride

A special event was hosted at Salalah Port as part of the Pakistan Day celebrations recently. The event which was graced by H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Omar bin Ahmed al Marhoon, Ambassador of Oman to Pakistan and H E Ali Javed, Ambassador of Pakistan to Oman was hosted onboard the vessel Aslat which was docked at the Salalah Port which is in close proximity to several attractions in Salalah and hotels and resorts like Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara. Roughly 120 guests including Omani officials, dignitaries and prominent members of the Pakistani community attended this event. This day which is of great significance is celebrated to mark the historic ”Pakistan Resolution” of 1940 which declared Pakistan as a sovereign state.
