Thailand’s May Tourist Arrivals up 4.6 pct y/y ; Ministry – Thai Tourist Turnover on a High Rate!

A wave of good news to the South East Asian nation Thailand! The country which is well known for tropical beaches, royal palaces, shopping and tourist destinations has recorded international tourist arrivals of 14.61 million within January to May. According to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports the country has generated an estimated 747 billion baht in tourism receipts. The announcement was made on the 15th of June during the opening ceremony of ”Thailand Travel Mart Plus” in Chiang Mai. Thailand has emerged to be one of the top travel destinations in the recent years with a massive number of tourists flocking from around the world to the country. Those visiting Thailand usually opt to stay at Bangkok resorts such as the Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort as they provide comfortable and convenient accommodation.
