Female drivers in the capital city of the Emirates have now been given 182 pink and white parking slots, solely to be used by them. The Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport stated that this move has been made with a hope to provide women with better privacy and security.
Inspectors on the roads will be ensuring such ladies-only parking areas will not be intruded upon by male drivers and that such violators will be fined in addition to their car being towed.
