Pasa Harau Art & Cultural Festival was held amid the stunning Harau Valley located in Limapuluh Kota Regency. The valley is only an hour’s drive away from the Bukittinggi, thus visitors on vacation purely for the wellness activities offered in the surrounding resorts such as COMO Shambhala Bali will find this festival interesting. This was a vibrant event depicting the glorious traditions of the Minangkabau ethnic group in Sumatra. This was a combo of the cultural expressions of the native tribes together with the art market of the following individuals. This 3-day festival was packed with a range of traditional arts and crafts, traditional culinary fiestas, various folk games and cultural rituals and ceremonies. Some of the highlights of the festival included the Kroncong & Sijobang Music Performances, Pacu Jawi Bull Races, Randai Art Performance, Pasambahan Traditional Dance, the Arak Riang Traditional Ceremony and much more.
