PATA coming to Negombo, Sri Lanka – await 2017

Sri Lanka’s tourism industry has grown immensely since the end of the civil war in 2009. Today, government officials look to augment the marketability of the paradise-isle. Thus the recent announcement made by PATA is a welcome surprise. In the latter part of 2015, PATA announced that their annual summit will be held in Negombo, Sri Lanka in 2017. PATA or the Pacific Asia Travel Association is a non-profit organization that enables and discusses sustainable tourism goals within the Asia Pacific Region.
