Philippines Independence Day – Enjoy the celebrations
The Philippines is a wonderful country that celebrates its Independence Day on June 12th. The country gained its freedom from the Spanish rulers and its been 120 years since then. Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo claimed the country was independent back in 1898, but it was officially declared a public holiday in 1962 by President Diosdado Macapagal.
