Bringing some of the best yachting action to Thailand, the Phuket King’s Cup Regatta 2014 is set to take place yet again this year. Scheduled to be held from 30th November to 6th December, the event offers visitors to Kata Beach a chance to view the many participating vessels against a stunning coastal backdrop. Inaugurated in 1987 as part of a celebration marking the birthday of His Majesty the King, the Phuket King’s Cup Regatta 2014 will see over 80 yachts in competition, representing a variety of countries from around the world.
