PM Attends CHSGA AGM – Celebrating it Members and Planning for the Future

The Ceylon Hotel School Graduates Association (CHSGA) recently held its Annual General Meeting for which the chief guest was Ranil Wickremesinghe, the country’s Prime Minister. This AMG was held on 23rd September at Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort, one of the newest additions to the list of Tangalle hotels in the region. John Amaratunga, the island’s Tourism and Christian Religious Affairs Minister was also in attendance as the guest of honour. During the AMG, the Ceylon Hotel School Graduates Association presented their strategic plan spanning a five year period. Honorary Fellowships were awarded to those that had made a sustained and significant contribution to the hotel management sector as well as to CHSGA. Additionally, Lifetime Awards were presented by the Prime Minister to members who were recognised for their distinguished and notable service to the hotel industry.
