Bollywood Actress Jacqueline Fernandez assured Indian tourists that Sri Lanka was safe for travel after the situation was taken into control following the terror attacks on Easter Sunday. She said this during a special event by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau together with the Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators to reveal 15 special promotional packages to potential Indian travellers in Mumbai on the 24th of June.
Fernandez spoke of fond memories in her home country and said she was always promoting tourism because of how beautiful Sri Lanka is and how much she loves the country.
