‘Preserve Nature’ the Theme for Seychelles at Expo 2020 – Highlighting Eco-friendly Initiatives

At this year’s Expo 2020 in Dubai, Seychelles will showcase the efforts it has taken to protect and conserve its natural environment; its country pavilion, held under the theme ‘Preserve Nature’, will be at the Sustainability Pavilion of this mega event which launches on 1st October 2021 and runs to 31st March 2022. Initially set for last year, Expo 2020 was rescheduled to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic though it retained its original name.

Seychelles will highlight the steps it has taken to preserve its green and blue economy along with featuring nature-based films and conservation measures. There will also be special cultural experiences at its pavilion on 28th October 2021, coinciding with International Creole Day. It is hoped that participation at Expo 2020 will attract many new travellers to Seychelles; resorts here including properties such as Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas provide an ideal base to enjoy the best of the country including its unspoiled natural beauty.
