Sri Lanka is a beautiful island destination not only for just a tropical holiday but is a fantastic destination for those looking out for a tropical wedding as well. To promote Sri Lanka as a wedding destination for 2022, Sri Lanka Tourism Bureau, Sri Lankan Airlines, and Sri Lanka Convention Bureau joined hands to put together Wedding Week 2022 in February.
Popular Indian, Maldivian, and Sri Lankan bridal designers were featured at the event along with wedding planners and other suppliers for the basic wedding necessities. The event was quite interactive with couples having fun while they check out the best options for their wedding on the island. The event which took place at Galle Face Hotel was a major success with event venues such as Dickwella Resort & Spa, a very popular Dickwella resort getting more exposure as a wedding venue among those from different markets.
