Following several postponements, the eagerly anticipated Punggol Pasar Malam known for its delectable array of culinary creations on offer is scheduled to begin this month. Event organiser, TLK Trade Fairs & Events, posted on its Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/tlkevents/) that it would be held from 25th June to 10th July 2022. It will take place at a field next to the Punggol MRT Station within easy reach of hotels in Chinatown, Singapore; these include SG Clean certified properties like PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering, Singapore that make a convenient base for those looking to visit and enjoy such events.
Pasar Malam translates to “night market” and such markets in Singapore are popular for the diverse food that visitors can buy. Amongst the local culinary highlights associated with such a pasar malam are the Ramly burger, Teochew oyster cakes, roti john and muah chee, while iced Thai milk tea is popular as well.
