The award-winning airline, Qatar Airways has officially informed the media that they will be flying the up-to-the-minute aircraft, the A350 to Colombo. The Chief Executive of the Qatar Airways Group, His Excellency Mr Akbar Al Baker stated that they are more than happy to bring in the A350 to Colombo to keep up with the increasing demand for business and leisure flights.
The huge aircraft contains 339 seats in total. There are 30 business class seats and 309 economy class seats. Qatar Airways continues to provide passengers with the best experience with maximum comfort while travelling in this luxurious aircraft. This is bound to bring benefits to Sri Lanka’s tourism industry as well. The benefactors would be accommodation providers such as Anantara Kalutara Resort which is q popular accommodation in Kalutara. Hotels will have a higher rate of occupancy in the near future.
