Qatar imposed a new policy for those who travel from China since January to produce a mandatory negative PCR test to enter the land. The approach was taken after China faced a new wave of COVID right after its ‘Zero COVID’ approach. This is a temporary measure taken by the government to reduce the spread of the virus and protect both travellers and the community from the outbreaks. Several other countries such as France, Spain, the UK, Italy, Australia and South Korea have also imposed similar regulations due to the latest developments.
Those who travel to Qatar can take lodging at several Doha hotels including the famous Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara with improved health and safety measures including disinfection, room service, laundry, and more.
