Qatar Masters Golf 2016

Tickets to the 2016 installment of the annual Qatar Masters Golf tournament sponsored by The Commercial Bank are now on sale. The desert-style tournament will be held at Doha Golf Club as it is every year on the Peter Harradine designed Championship Course- a 7,374 yard par 72 course which poses quite a challenge to golfers but still gives a perfect calculation of lakes, rock formations, giant cacti and of course a breathtaking expanse of green fairways making it an exceptional experience not to be missed. The Doha Golf Club is in close proximity to a most prominent luxury hotel Doha has to offer, Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara.
The line-up includes golfing giants of today. Former World number ones Ernie Els and Adam Scott, Ryder Cup stars Sergio Garcia, Thomas Bjorn, Henrik Stenson, Paul Lawrie and Robert Karlsson as well as two-time US Open Champion Retief Goosen are all set to play. Doha will also welcome one of its biggest social events of the year on January 29th- a musical performance in the Public Village that is sure to be packed. The President of the Qatar Golf Association has himself said that the Qatar Masters is a key event in the European Tour international schedule.
