The Qatar Tourism Authority recently unveiled their proposed business events that will be taking place throughout the year. According to Ahmed Al Obaidli, the Director of the QTA, 28 of these events have already been planned to commence by April 2018. Al Obaidli stressed the importance of such events in order to promote tourism in Qatar.
QTA even launched the sub-brand, Qatar Business Events, in order to promote the nation’s capability to accommodate business meetings, exhibitions, and events. Many of these events will definitely cover the various 5 star hotels in Doha and the rest of Qatar, covering properties such as Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara.
So far the most anticipated event in QTA’s portfolio is the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition which will be celebrating its 15th occurrence.
