Qatar Tourism Strategy 2030 in Place – A Long-Term Vision for Tourism

Highlighted on the Breaking Travel News website in November 2021, the Qatar Tourism Strategy 2030 is looking to increase arrivals significantly to this Middle East destination over the next decade. Apart from short-term goals for 2022, Qatar Tourism is expecting to meet its longer-term vision by drawing tourists with its diverse experiences as well as newly or soon to be opened leisure projects and attractions. By 2030, the country is hoping to achieve six million international visitor arrivals per year and more in-destination spending by tourists too.

Apart from the variety of experiences on offer, the country also offers safe accommodation options at hotel apartments in Qatar. These include “Qatar Clean” certified properties in the capital like Al Najada Doha Hotel Apartments by Oaks which ensure safe stays. Furthermore, with the FIFA Football World Cup also scheduled to be held here later this year (21st November – 18th December 2022), the country is expecting a further boost to the tourism industry.
